How will I get to class?
This one is as easy as falling out of bed, literally. Campus is just right across the street, so you can practically fall into class from your front door. And if it’s too cold or rainy to walk, we have the University Bus Service stopping at several locations on our grounds, one really close to your apartment.
Am I lost without a car?
Only if you don’t like having everything at your fingertips. Within one city block of our grounds is shopping, fast food and restaurants, banks, and entertainment. Not to mention, we’re right across the street from campus. It’s all right here.
What kind of service can I expect?
Friendly and courteous, that’s what we require of all of our staff. The helpful knowledge and assistance of our office personnel ensures that our Easy Move-In program is a constant success, while the 24-Hour Maintenance Guarantee gives you piece of mind that if you need special assistance, we’re here to help.
What is there to do at River Walk?
A better question might be “where will I find time to do it all?” Our community is very active, hosting multiple monthly events including Super Bowl Parties, Game Tournaments, All-U-Can Eat Dinners, Pool Parties, Movie Nights, Step Shows, and Concerts. Our Community Representatives, who are also students, are here to make your stay easy and worry free.
What kind of community is River Walk?
A student community. Everything we offer is designed specifically with students in mind, from the private bedrooms and baths, to the 24-Hour Computer Lab. We want your college experience to be an enjoyable one, where you can focus on what’s important. That is why we believe that being in an atmosphere of higher learning makes River Walk “the students choice.”
Where do I find my Personal Space?
Just about everywhere you turn. With your own bedroom tucked away in from the living areas, you can find solitude and privacy any time you wish. If it’s the outdoors that give you solace, River Walk is spread out across 35 acres of mature grounds featuring beautiful trees that are over a century old.
Can I have a pet?
Sorry, River Walk does not allow pets at this time.

M-F 9:00 a.m. to 5:00pm
Sat 11:00- 4:00 pm.
Sun: 1:00- 4:00
